We have been doing this since 2006 but they were put together in 2000 after a while they put them up and then in 2006 started them again & the idea was one that our Club at that time, (River City Dancers), put together from what they saw at a fair in Washington. Some guys with Horses strapped on them circulating among the crowd. They went home and decided they could do this and perform with square dance moves. These Horses are made out of plastic barrels cut in half with a hole that you can step in and pull them up & hook them on to a belt that the rider is wearing...These horses weigh 25 to 30 lbs & have been decorated by their riders.
